Landru like swindler hits Paris with new slaughter tale
Paris reports a Landru type killer Rey alias Camille Gaillard alias Jerome Prat alias Etienne Morel was arrested in Algiers after fleeing Marseilles. He is accused of strangling three women and may have killed fifteen others as hundreds of documents and clothes reveal a wide Landru style scam. Police say he used matrimonial ads to trap and defraud women while preventing notarial sales. He came from Tunis and was wanted in Algiers and Oran for thefts.
