The Thrifty Home Demonstration Club met Monday at Mrs J E Adelmanns home on West Sixth Ave. Members asked questions on canning pickles and Pauline Lakey demonstrated Salting and Pickling Vegetables. They learned to make stuffed rag dolls and invited Red Cross sewing participants to an all day session at Mrs Dorsey Smiths home. Mrs I E Bursey reported on the upcoming Home Demonstration Council meeting in Austin August 1 2 3. Refreshments were served to members.
