Two Girls Kidnapped and Assaulted Near Gem Lake Amarillo

Two girls under 14 were abducted by two men in Amarillo while playing on North Taylor Street. They were driven to an isolated spot near Gem Lake, assaulted, clothes torn, then dumped on a muddy road. The car carried a Tennessee license. detectives seek suspects described as one large and heavy set and one slim. Grace Hodge, a policewoman, assisted the girls and a doctor examined them.

Charges Filed After YWCA Dance Fight Injures Several
