Worm rancher boasts tougher worms for fishing
Los Angeles July 11. R B Bilkosky of Alhambra runs the world’s only worm farm specializing in grade A hand picked elastic wrigglers. After 500000 Wisconsin worms were transferred to California, his stock survived harsh testing, shipped in seven food cans with 60 to 90 worms each, and remains alive after two weeks in 110 degree Mojave desert. More than 6700 cans shipped last year. Bilkosky claims his worms outlive rivals and resist trout bites, boosting sport fishing prospects.
