ONeill Watson Undergoes Knee Surgery After Wreck
O Neil Watson aged 39 of 107 Rose Drive Pleasant Valley was operated on last night at St Anthony s Hospital for a fractured knee cap from an automobile collision. The crash occurred early last night at the Dumas Amarillo Highway Hastings intersection inside city limits involving a car driven by Watson and a truck driven by Ted Thompson 20 Vega.

Auto Trouble Traced to Cat Beneath Hood
Mrs. W. B. Rice reported a car breakdown on the way to a West Sixth service station. The hood cat belonging to neighbor Mrs. L. H. Davis jumped out and caused noise and fright as six blocks were pushed to revive the motor. The cat reportedly haunts under the hood despite repaired battery to coils connections.
