Twenty six families have bought farm tracts on the 14 000 acre Dobbs Ranch near Bushland since August 1 to build homes as about 6000 acres are already sown in wheat. The land originated with a 1898 sale at 1 per acre and has since risen to 20 to 35 per acre. Many purchasers come from out of state, and several homes are completed or planned.
