Oldest English Horn Dance and Local Church Notices
One of England’s oldest dances, the Abbots Bromley Horn dance, features 12 dancers wearing deer skulls and antlers, traced to Danish invasion rites for Thor and Odin. Local notices list church circle meetings, missionary socials, liturgical groups, and upcoming events across Amarillo including the Polk Street Missionary Society, First Christian and First Baptist church circles, St Andrew’s Auxiliary, Central Presbyterian circles, and a high school senior glee broadcast. Mrs. Avery Turner plans a Los Angeles trip with Mr. Turner to Santa Fe, leaving Amarillo Wednesday evening.
