Grand Avenue liquor permit stalled over wet area status
The 1107 Grand Avenue property, once the Little Pig Inn, faces a renewed request to certify as a wet area for beer and light wines. City secretary Katheryne Burwell has refused to declare it wet, keeping the Thrasher filing blocked. Courts have weighed whether the site was wet prior to city annexation and whether it should stay dry if not reclassified.
