James William Kizer a 25 year old former Amarillo cab driver fled officers at Big Spring last night while resisting arrest on burglary charges related to the Nite Spot Cafe theft on December 20 1948. He is wanted in several burglaries across Oklahoma and Texas and is described as 5 11 160 pounds with light brown hair blue eyes and a scar on his chin. He was last seen wearing a brown suit without shoes.

Boy's Arm Injured In Attack By Dog
A five year old Amarillo boy, Jimmie Howard, was attacked by a dog while playing in his yard. He sustained two fractures above the left wrist and a deep wrist laceration. His parents are L C and Mrs. L C Howard, 104 Florida. He was taken to a doctor for treatment after the 10 oclock incident.
