Miss Doris Culton daughter of Mr and Mrs Don H Culton and William Madi Singleton were married yesterday morning at 9 30 o clock in St Anthony's Hospital Dr R Thom son pastor of Central Presbyterian Church officiated The wedding planned for the Culton home was moved to the hospital due to the bride's appendectomy The couple will reside at 1115 Jackson Street Attending included Mr and Mrs Culton Byron Singleton and Neil Singleton The bride is a graduate of Amarillo High School and the University of Texas at Austin The groom a UT graduate and assistant city engineer was son of Mr and Mrs J M Singleton of Lufkin The ceremony honored the couple’s parents anniversary The pre nuptial parties were postponed due to the operation.
