Increase Fund For Old Age Assistance
State officials announce targeted increases to old age assistance and aid to the blind with March checks. Adjustments will reflect family size and local price changes, with raises from $1 to $3 per month. Recipients must visit the office for individual revisions and new payments. Further funds will cover dependent children aid, with about 109000 aged and 3100 needy blind benefiting and 30,000 dependent children receiving roughly $200,000 monthly.
