A lone bandit held up Cohn's men's shop on Main Street at about 8:20 a.m. today and escaped with approximately $100. The incident occurred in Houston Texas with police seeking the suspect.

He was strapped to a chair gagged with a leather bridle and watched proceedings as jury selection began. He reportedly pledged insanity and admitted deserting from the army at San Antonio.

Huntsville Texas February 16 A prisoner named Jack Clayton is missing inside the state prison walls for about 40 hours. Warden F E Harrell says he is surely inside the pen as top watchmen did not see him exit. Clayton aimed to escape and has not reported for checking in since Sunday. He was sentenced to life from Greenville for robbery.
