Police recovered tractor parts and machinery stolen from the R. B. George Tractor and Machinery Company on 623 South Grant Street. Two youths, said to be members of Amarillo's dead end kids, were arrested after the loot, valued at 150 dollars, was traced to junk yards.
Beavns begins a second test for new water supply to meet next summer’s demand. The test site lies a half mile west of the first, on the Rock Island right of way near Rosemont Street. Engineer D L McDonald moved a drilling rig to the site after permission was granted.
