Russian ex-colonel Borislavsky found shot dead in New York
Michael Borislavsky a 55 year old former czarist colonel and inventor connected to military devices was found dead on a sidewalk near the Sacred Heart Convent in New York shot through the eye. Condition of Blast Victim Is Fair
Jo Ann Bailey, burned when a Plains Hotel gas heater exploded, is reported in fair condition at St. Anthony's Hospital. She was hurled into the hallway, walls bulged, and burns covered hands face and body. She lived at the hotel with her father, a Santa Fe Railroad employee, who had gone to work about an hour earlier. She was lighting the wall heater when the blast occurred. Windows and adjoining rooms blew out.

Nine Die As Ice-Covered Truck Falls Through St. Lawrence
