Scout Council Names Officers in Llano Estacado Council
G Stockton of Amarillo was reelected president at a Llano Estacado Council meeting at the Herring Hotel. New officers include O Keefe, Finch, Tuck, Kinsey, Hill, Fields, McCrory, Baird, Smith and Hiatt. Silver Beaver awards were given to Judge Ashby and Kenneth Grenewald, with 20 and 10 year service honors. Dr Hill spoke on Strengthen the Arm of Liberty as 467 Scouts were added in 1949, totaling 2,619 with 828 leaders.
