Markets Stock Averages and Farm Prices Report
Markets opened slow and closed fairly active with hogs steady to $0.00 lower under 230 pounds, cattle and calves largely steady with some declines. Beef and veal prices show thin gains, while package quotes list round weights and ranges for slaughter steers, heifers, cows, bulls, and vealers. Rough handling of data suggests mixed demand with regional price directions.
