Two Killed and Five Hurt in Highway 66 Crash

A head-on crash on Highway 66 near Conway killed Joe Mattick Roark 24 of Checotah Oklahoma and Flossie Marie Beach 18 of Checotah. Five others were injured, including Howard Karr Lynch and George L. Beach, while several more suffered minor injuries. Rescue crews transported the injured to Groom and Amarillo hospitals. the wrecked vehicles were towed from the scene.

Winter Weather Returns Amid Amarillo Snow Forecast

Guerrillas Shell Salonika Killing Four In City

A large force fired 12 mountain artillery shells into Salonika Greece this morning killing four people including a British soldier. Two women and a man died as shells exploded in the heart of the city, with casualties also reported among rebels who came under Greek air attack at dawn.
