Griffiths Sally of the Sawdust and Stage Struck at local theaters
Carol Dempster delivers powerful emotional scenes in Sally of the Sawdust under Griffith with a dramatic circus scene heightening realism. W C Fields provides placid contrast in Stage Struck, a comedy led by Mord Sterling for Gloria Swanson. Also highlights New Year attractions at the Fair Mission and Deandi theaters and early praise for Fighting in France.
