Armand Tokatyan, a 51 year old former Metropolitan tenor, testified in divorce court that his wife Antoinette, 47, a New York voice teacher, was unreasonably jealous claiming he made violent love to the soprano on stage. He said performers on stage are merely artists and nothing more. The couple married in 1924 and separated in 1944. Tokatyan was awarded the divorce and now runs a voice studio in Pasadena.
