Officials of Amarillo Building Company announce an eight story office building at Third and Polk. The Amarillo Building will cost 461000, be fireproof with steel and concrete design, and provide 140 offices across seven upper floors plus two street facing stores. Fred Bone Construction is contractor. architects are Sheppard and Wiser of Kansas City.
Amarillo residents are urged to pay January property and poll taxes promptly to avoid a last minute rush. Miss Jewell Davidson city secretary notes only 254 poll taxes have been paid to date and stresses timely payment.
