Differences among members may delay release, but Hoover favors presenting the report to Congress soon. The plan aligns with Sen. Borah's views. Neal Cobb was jailed on $1,500 bond after a Christmas Eve liquor raid. Deputies found four pints of bonded whiskey and a half gallon of corn whiskey in Cobb's car, which was confiscated. Sheriff Bill Thompson reported three checks totaling 160 dollars, deemed found on Cobb, may lead to witnesses. District Attorney Edw. W. Thomerson noted.
Enid Oklahoma December 25 The badly burned body of Marion Parr an Enid oil lease broker was found in the skeleton of his automobile on the roadside near Hayward about 30 miles east of Enid Police said he likely stopped to sleep and the car caught fire from the engine or a cigarette
Mary Canizaro, 82, of Beaumont, Texas, died after a stray dog bite from months ago led to rabies, which developed Monday.
J. M. Morris, 62, died after being struck by an automobile while stepping from a motor bus at Nederland. He suffered fatal injuries and did not regains consciousness in Beaumont hospital.
