Science Links Crime To Stomach Trouble
A study by David Abrahamson of Columbia University links psycho somatic stomach trouble to criminal behavior. Among 80 subjects 40 criminals and 40 non criminals, digestive and other psychosomatic illnesses were common in offenders and their families, while non offenders showed fewer such problems. The research notes family stress as a key factor and suggests stomach illness may reflect emotional strains rather than cause crime.
