Rail workers and events fill Amarillo beat in December notes
Dalhart engineers and Wichita Falls agents visit Amarillo in a busy local rail corridor roundup. The Rock Island Rockets announce a new switch engine and schedule tweaks as clerks, firemen, and conductors shuffle roles. Officers of veterans groups plan a December 11 meeting with a banquet and a dance at the Herring Hotel while auxiliary members host games and a joint December 21 installation.
