Murder is Seen in Death of Hunter on Pike County Land
In Milford Pennsylvania a hunter Wellington De Groat of Matamoros New York was found dead beside a deer on land owned by Mrs Bertham Armbruster. Police now consider it a possible murder after a post mortem showed a bullet wound. Witnesses testified the hunter wounded the buck and pursued it onto Armbruster property where she had threatened to shoot a hunter on sight. Armbruster underwent surgery after being hospitalized.
