Amarillo school taxes must not be extended the board ruled at a Wednesday meeting to a nine person Kiwanis and Real Estate Board tax committee. The district needs about 60 000 monthly for payroll and has 170 000 in warrants, rising toward 250 000 by February 1. Funeral Rites Held For Mrs Camp In Amarillo
Funeral services for Mrs Minnie Camp 64 who died Wednesday were held at 3 PM at the Church of Christ with Rev Robert C Jones officiating. The body lay in state at Griggs Chapel and will be sent to Monticello Ark for burial beside her husband who died 12 years ago. Surviving besides her daughter are three sons Grady W Gaston G and William Camp all Globe News employees and a sister Mrs Odie Gammel of Boydell Ark. Mrs Camp came to Amarillo from Monticello Ark in 1918. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
