Attorney Edison Hedges opened for Beach alleging family ties and a contested confession story from a circus informant. The defense planned to argue Beach did not know the key witness and that the two families were friendly until the doctor’s death.

Sheriff Jose Rivera of Las Vegas New Mexico is en route to take custody of Bruce Bateman Arthur Sehlindler and L Cline. They are accused of stealing a Chrysler in Las Vegas and linked to car thefts in Los Angeles Detroit Bakersfield and Newton Kansas. They were arrested locally two days ago with two associates who escaped, based on information from Los Angeles.
A car carrying Don Sena of Trinidad Colorado and three nephews Felix Sanchez Samuel Tenado and Lucas Blea skidded into a barrier on a new paved road near Palmer Make Colo. Sena was killed Lena, pinned beneath the overturned car, died before help arrived the nephews were injured and thrown clear of the wreckage.
