Voters head to the polls tomorrow in Pottier County Democratic runoffs for sheriff and county attorney. Incumbent Sheriff Less Whitaker faces Wiley Pollard, while Henry Ford contests H K Stanfield for county attorney. Early voting urged with results to be announced at The Globe election party tomorrow night.
Tonight and tomorrow be somewhat cloudy with near warm conditions. The day topped at 91 degrees, while a year ago August reached 69 for the high, and the low record today matched that 69. The coolest moment last year was 55 degrees.
