A New York stock exchange seat sold for 222000 dollars, the highest price ever reached. The prior record stood at 220000 dollars and the last sale at 218000 dollars. Neil G. Finch’s seat went to Max Rajehenbach.

Denver police halted milk bottle thefts when 16 year old Eugene Alexander was shot in the hip by Patrolman Loren Gobel after he refused to halt on Santa Fe drive. Four family members Archie and Archie S Alexander Ruth Riley Miles Riley and another youth were jailed while a small boy was questioned.
Friends of Charlie Fisk condemn a filing by a Dallas doctor who claimed the Medical Arts name in Amarillo. Fisk says the ten story Polk street tower cannot keep that title. He will rename the project Medical and Professional building with a fall opening planned.
Mrs. John Vogel, about 45, found dead this morning in a blood stained car four miles west of Texarkana with a knife or bullet wound in her forehead. H. J. Moon found about 75 yards away with a bullet wound in the head. a .38 revolver with all six cartridges discharged lies under the body. Continued on page two.
In Los Angeles two girls 12 and 16 say they were held two months by Mexican kidnappers. Anne Goette, a San Diego runaway, escaped after nine weeks and informed authorities. Julia Theresa Davis, 12, was found drugged in San Pedro. Boxer Arthur Guerrera and another man were detained on abduction charges.
