Amarillo adopts broad zoning code across districts and yards
The city enacts a comprehensive zoning ordinance covering A to E area districts, front and rear yard depths, lot width and area requirements, height limits, and special exceptions. It details nonconforming uses, enforcement by the building inspector, board of adjustment powers, and map-designation rules with a July 21 1931 effective date.
