The United States accepts an invitation to a League of Nations world economic conference that will not include debts or tariffs on the agenda. The plan will create three committees for conference logistics, economic issues, and financial problems while allowing separate talks on debts with individual nations.
An 11 year old, Jesse Medford, died in Dallas after being kicked by his brother in law Curtis Beck during a domestic dispute. Beck was arrested and faces charges. Medford died while doctors prepared to operate at Parkland Hospital after being brought there by an older brother.
