White Plains, N Y April 28 Pneumonia and diphtheria germs are believed by a physician to have been administered to Mrs Clarence D Baring whose husband an inventor is held on charges of poisoning here. When Baring was arraigned he entered a guilty plea except as to intent to kill later changed to not guilty. District Attorney Rowland said signs of pneumonia and diphtheria germs had been found in Mrs Baring blood during the last three months by Dr Henry Vier. Baring arraignment the allegation was he put arsenic in her food. Friends suggest he may have mental instability from chemical experiments.
