Sledges of Crime and a Nightclub Reveal Don Redheir's Fate
In a shadowed club Kip Scott hunts for answers about Don Redhair and an old man's will. Diana Rudyar appears with Monty Wentworth and Cy Borg guarding her, while Peppo reminds Kip of danger from the past as Hyacinthe Faure sings on stage. The tale blends racketeering lines with family ties and a quest for truth.

Quest for the spotted pup drives Kip through a cold city
Kip Scott searches for Don Redhair and the mysterious spotted pup. He visits Grimsley’s office, learns Grimsley is dead with no papers, and questions a hotel clerk about Don. A cab ride to Ott Redhair’s Riviera apartment hints at mob ties and a deeper hunt. The case hinges on who took Kip’s memo page and who wants the pup.
