Music club delegates open Texas federation event at Herring Hotel
Fifty nine delegates from out of town gathered for the formal opening session of the Texas Federation of Music Clubs convention in the Crystal ball room at the Herring Hotel. Mrs James L Price of Dallas presided, badges were issued after credentialing, and the morning program included a Collect, invocation by Bishop Seaman, and a violin solo by seven year old Vivian Robertson in cowboy attire. The mascot was noted for her skill and charm as she also performed The Dance of the Elfin Fairy as an encore. Continued on page two.
