Two Die Seven Hurt In Electrical Storm

Strike Breakers Wound Pickets At Coal Mine

Two pickets were shot and wounded as they tried to stop Paul Conlon from transporting strike breakers to his father’s mine at Plains near Wilkes Barre. The wounded were Frank Walkowiak and Lawrence Constanti. Conlon, charged with the shooting, was freed on $20,000 bail after arraignment.
