Five burglaries were reported last night in Amarillo. The Camel Candy Factory at 505 Arthur Street was entered for the fourth time this month, with candy stolen after breaking a rear door. The Continental Oil service station at Twelfth Avenue and Buchanan Street saw two one gallon cans of oil taken. Gulf Refining service station at Tenth Avenue and Houston Street was entered via a broken window with nothing stolen. Morningside Grocery at 905 West Tenth Avenue lost candy and cigars. Berry's Cleaners & Dyers at 905 West Tenth Avenue suffered $300 in clothing theft but will reimburse customers.
