Reform School Whipping Rule Issued by Board
Austin April 4. State reform school at Gatesville shall whip boys only with the superintendent or chaplain present and by order of the superintendent. Man Pushed Into River From Dallas Trestle
Dallas April 4 C M Chancellor 32 lay unconscious on Trinity river trestle tracks Sunday night after being pushed from a street car by a safety trap. Thrown about thirty five feet, the trap saved him from the wheels. He may have been slugged and left on the rails. Chancellor was semi conscious the next morning and unable to recall the assault.
