Donley Veterans Train for Farming and Cabinet Work
Donley County Vocational School, run by the Donley County School Board, has grown since 1946 to offer agriculture and cabinet making programs at Clarendon and Hedley. About 45 percent of the 180 students own farms, with classes teaching farm management, animal husbandry, and cabinet making. The program supports veterans with stipends, shop access, and hands on projects, producing graduates who stay on farms or start trades.
