The Amarillo American Legion Auxiliary met last night in the Legion Hall to plan for the national official visit April 16. Mrs. J. Horace Griggs led committee appointments and reports from Mrs. James O. Cade, Mrs. Guy Miller, and Mrs. 8. F. Rose set goals for recruitment and transportation to a hospital tour. Delegates to Perryton district meeting were named, and the group voted to sell 10 drums from an auxiliary drum corps to the Sons of the American Legion.
