Reeder Is Reported In Very Good Condition

At St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo the condition of Alton Reeder is listed as very good. Reeder, son of Judge and Mrs. C B Reeder, was rushed to the hospital Thursday night with a recurrent intestinal disorder. A Houston specialist was summoned to Amarillo to decide if surgery is needed. Reeder, an Amarillo attorney, lives on Canyon Highway. Judge and Mrs. Reeder reside at 1300 Jackson.

Bold Bandits Hit Amarillo Jewelry Store Heist

Daring thieves shattered a plate glass window at the Amarillo Band House at 8 30 last night and escaped with about 1500 dollars in jewelry. Two watches worth around 500 were included. The robbery was seen by Mrs. Jess Maddox near Maddox Drug Store as a sedan fled east on Fifth. E L Smith valued the loot and noted this was his first robbery since 1932.
