The District Rehabilitation Office of the Texas Education Agency will open on or about Oct. 1. Jeff Graham will head the program as counselor in charge. About 1300 permits for the antelope season are issued as it opens Saturday September 28 in the Trans-Pecos area. The season runs through October 6 with fewer antelope due to earlier bad weather. Ranchers should buy shooting preserve licenses before Saturday at the county clerk’s office.
