The Brewster County Texas court orders a bond election on September 16 1922 to issue 300000 in bonds for macadamized roads and turnpikes with interest not to exceed 5 percent and a 30 year term. Voting places include Alpine and Marathon areas with specified precinct officers and publication notices in the Alpine Avalanche.
Court clerk acknowledges order with official seal of the Commissioners Court dated August 1922. Judge M. S Burke signs as county judge and places the court’s seal on the document.
