Joan Johnson was chosen as president of the Office Education Association at the organizational meeting on Tuesday September 1. Gulf Oil awards James Pattillo four year scholarship
James Pattillo, a 1970 Alpine High School graduate, received a Gulf Oil Scholarship permitting study at any accredited U S college or university for four years. He is the son of Mr and Mrs John W Pattillo of Alpine and received the certificate from Frank Marwood of Midland at a luncheon August 25. Pattillo plans to attend Texas A&M to study liberal arts and is a freshman Corps of Cadets member with the football defensive squad.
