Death Takes Mrs. Ortega
Funeral services for Leonor Ortega in her early 40s will be held at 10 30 a m Friday from the Catholic Church in Marathon. She died Tuesday night in Brewster County Memorial Hospital. Surviving are her husband Jose and four daughters and two sons, all of Marathon. Burial will be in Marathon Cemetery. Geeslin Funeral Home is in charge.

Edward Irving Pruett 58 El Paso born, a captain in El Paso County Sheriff’s civil division, died Oct 22.
