Disappearing last April, the bird was found July in poor condition on Joop Road and brought to Bertha Lentz at the Holland hotel. Ward Winter to be buried in Alpine today at 2 30
Ward Winter, age about 31, West Texan with a prominent local family, died in a highway crash near Waxahachie Wednesday morning when the car carrying him and Jorge Prock of Dallas collided with a marble truck. Funeral at Fort Stockton First Methodist Church at 10:30 this morning, burial at Elm Grove cemetery Alpine at 2:30. Survived by parents A Vick Winter and a brother W T Bill Winter of Alpine, and a daughter Mrs James Benetich of San Angelo.
