Rains Fall This Week Over Much Of Big Bend
General rains in the Big Bend area totaled .52 inch over the past week and refreshed the ranges. Cooler weather persisted with overcoats seen last Sunday and Monday. Heaviest falls occurred on Saturday with .33 and Monday with .24. Sundays rain was .14, Tuesday a trace, and yesterday to 8 am .01 with a light rain continuing at press time.

Word reached here that Walter Young Henson a former express agent died in Dallas last Thursday. He and Mrs. Henson built a home here years ago and later moved to Kerrville where Mrs. Henson died about a year later. Burial was in Kerrville cemetery.
