New Officer Is Appointed At Alpine Cemetery Association
Mrs. Keith Morrow becomes first vice president replacing Mrs. John Reininger who resigned. Dues donations and memorial gifts should be mailed to P O Box 507 Alpine Texas. The summer rains damaged the cemetery and maintenance costs rose forcing phased repairs. Special thanks to J E Gray for providing labor and equipment for dirt delivery. Memorial fence gifts are noted and fence construction aims to resume this fall. Cholera mortality is reported between 30 and 80 percent.
