Mrs Henry Fletcher hosted her contract club on Thursday noon with a Mexican luncheon. Prizes went to Mrs Fuqua Younger of Dumas and Mrs Wells McIntyre. Other attendees included Mrs Lee Kokernot Mrs W K El is Memphis Tenn Mrs W H Terry Mrs Clay Holland Mrs Anja Wilson Mrs Shirley Scales.
The Lambeth Missionary Society gathered at Mrs Rugell Duncan's home for roll call and a program on Entering Mexico. A committee led the program, guests were served orange punch and cake, and several members and a guest attended in a cordial sociais.
Mrs Guy Crawford led the regular Methodist Woman's Missionary Society social at Mr T A Beard's home last Tuesday afternoon. The gathering included guests Mess James Ross Bierschwab and FE M. Smith. Mrs Crawford spoke on Ways of the New Order. Mrs Skevington presented points from the “Dering” event. Mrs Beard and others hosted a salad tea and cookies.
Mrs. Cora Sawers of Paragould Arkansas reports regular nervous snaking spells and cramps. She says after using Cardus she improved, the shaking stopped and cramps ceased. She gave Cardus to her daughter who was similarly helped and soon recovered.

Separate highway bids announce Crushed Caliche Rock Base and Asphalt Surf work with stated wage scales and local employment provisions.

Stage rates govern payments for work, with wages set at thirty dollars per hour. The Texas State Highway Department in Austin, through Engineer Marta, provides the contract and specifications.
