Friday Night Beer Fellowship Among Seven Friends

From where I sit Sy Joe Marshvery Friday night seven in the group gather at Bill Webster's place. Bill Webster Judge Cunningham Pete Swanson Old Dee McGinnis the dentist Dee Mitch the M.D government man Bob Newcomb and myself. We don t play cards or carry on. We sit quietly talk and drink a glass or two of beer. We discuss business family farming hunting fishing and life s experience. Beer brings out good talk and good sense when men get together. They call beer the beverage of moderation perhaps that s why good beer and fellowship go together. Seems there ought to be more quiet talks over a glass of beer. It straightens out a man in his thinking. People ought to get together and be friends. That s the way we were made. Why not try it more often all of you.
