Anderson School Graduation Held In Fort Davis Auditorium
Graduation exercises for eighth graders at Anderson school were held on Thursday night May 18 in the school auditorium. The program featured a piano prelude, recitations, songs, declamations and a class history with awards presented by Supt. John G. Prude and Principal W. E. Smith. The event noted new stage draperies and an advertisement screen at the high school auditorium, funded by local supporters from Fort Davis Alpine and Marfa.

The Jarratt couple, new to Fort Davis from Loraine Texas, include Miss Margaret a Fort Davis State Bank clerk and graduate of Loraine High School. Mr Russell, a Monument New Mexico and Texas Tech graduate, aims for Sul Ross College this summer for a Master’s degree. They will reside in Fort Davis after June 1.
