Masons Plan Workshop for Three Lodges
A Masonic Workshop meeting is set for 8 p.m. Thursday May 26 at Alpine Lodge 766 in Alpine. Vernon Boysen of Alpine chairs the five county Area G-2 workshop, with Marfa Fort Davis and Alpine Lodges invited. Nearly 200 workshops are held semi annually for officers of over 970 Texas Masonic Lodges under Grand Master H W Fullinging of Odessa.

Big Bend Car Club Holds Weekly Meetings
The Big Bend Car Club meets at 7 30 p m on Tuesdays at the Holland Hotel to promote safe driving, vehicle maintenance, fellowship, and good government. Members require quarterly safety checks, with inspections for passers. Plans include a sanctioned quarter mile drag strip under American Hot Rod Association supervision.
